Shopping:
Lola
& Gigi - When I see someone put something
on that fits them perfectly, I can just see the difference it makes.
They glow! The size on the label suddenly ceases to exist and they
are in their element. That's why I began to created LolaandGigi.com
- a weboutique specializing in fabulous clothing in sizes 12-24.
Check it out:
Shapes
- The idea for Shapes grew out of the knowledge that
most women get very frustrated shopping and usually end up with
closets full of clothing they never wear. Whether they blame their
imperfect figures, less time to shop or less money to shop with,
the result is the same – they end up depressed and hating
their bodies. NO MORE, we said! We developed
the Home Party concept for Shapes so that every woman can learn
how to dress well and feel good about herself in a relaxed, friendly
atmosphere.
The
Yummy Mummy Club - "yummy is not a one
size only" Yummy is a state of mind.....So, what's this
club thing all about? It's a place where you can celebrate and commiserate
the rollercoaster ride of modern mummydom, win great prizes, find
books to stimulate your brain and read eclectic and cheeky articles
written for and by other yummy mummies...because mummy needs to
play too. We're unabashedly un-exclusive.
The
ReBELLYon - The Rebellyon is a movement started
by Amanda Palmer fans outraged by RoadRunner Record’s accusation
that Amanda Palmer’s belly was too fat to appear in a music
video. The response this got was hundreds of fans sending in pictures
of their own bellies to RoadRunner as a sign of protest! We promote
healthy body images! Love your bellies! All shapes, sizes and colours!
What was once only a protest has grown in to a movement to promote
healthy body image. The Rebellyon is devoted to getting people comfortable
with their bodies. Special thanks to Amanda Palmer, The Shadowbox,
and Jessica and Mia for so proudly displaying the love for their
bellies on this site!
